We are big agency people who decided that, sometimes, smaller can be more effective than bigger. After working as creative directors for multinational advertising agencies on some of the world’s leading brands, we decided to start our own business some fourteen years ago. What’s different about Highway 101? We always begin by establishing a strategic creative direction that will ‘position’ each client, one that will clearly differentiate them. From there, we work towards creating a campaign that will create the most impact and potential business success in the marketplace, whatever it might be. It’s an approach that worked very successfully for all our clients.

Creative Strategy
A difficult concept to explain, creative strategy is actually the most important stage: it’s the ‘foundation work’. We love it when a client says “Of course. It’s so simple – why didn’t we think of that?” The answer is that an outside perspective is often essential, and besides, it’s our job to make sure it’s right. From this comes the ‘creative concept’, sometimes called ‘The Big Idea’. These are the thoughts that demonstrate our creative thinking and how they can be explored. We then ensure that all aspects of the campaign, from online to printed to internal, are properly implemented. This is where ‘the eye for detail’ comes in.

Digital
Digital strategy is, of course, everything online. Today, your website is your main selling tool. We believe in more than just a well designed site that is easy to navigate – we work to ensure that your website reflects what your company stands for.

Graphic Design
Every aspect of visual identity, from logo to website to corporate brochure.

Content creation
Our copywriters are award-winning and have an unrivalled level of experience. Creative, editorial, technical, medical writing, PR – we cover all the bases. In today’s online world content is, indeed, king. But there’s content for the sake of SEO, and content that people actually want to read (or view). We only produce the latter – it takes a bit more time, but Google loves it (and so do our clients).

Social Media
If we had a dollar for every time we’ve heard someone say ‘quick – we need a Facebook page!’ we’d be rich. But social media is so much more, and like any other campaign it needs a strategic plan. Once the strategy is agreed upon, our in-house experts will ensure that a regular schedule is in place. But every social media platform changes on a regular basis, which is why expert knowledge is important.

Extended services
We work with a number of professional photographers, film and animation companies and media planners/buyers, all of whom we trust to deliver an exceptional result. While we can run full SEO campaigns for clients internally, we also work with some of the best in the business.
